LEAF was an art exhibition hosted by Gallery 1889 in Toxteth featuring the art of six international artists, Skye Young, Rauni Da Mota, Josh Wentz, Prado Neto, Liam Bononi and Micah Hayns. The goal of this exhibition was to bring awareness of environmental concerns through art and collective action. For the exhibit, Skye painted four art pieces themed around place, conservation, plant awareness disparity, and engaging with nature. Additionally, she created an educational pamphlet outlining major environmental issues in the United Kingdom (UK) to distribute and built a follow-up survey for exhibition visitors to reflect on the show’s impact.
